World-Class Racing

Set against the stunning backdrop of Port Macquarie, our track combines modern design with the charm of coastal racing. The result is a course that delivers thrilling competition and a premium experience for participants and spectators alike.

Track Overview

Our turf course measures approximately 1,600 metres in circumference, with two 400-metre straights and cambered turns designed for smooth, competitive racing. The surface is Kikuyu grass, offering a consistent and safe footing for all conditions.

Races are run over 1000 m to 2000 m, with distances suited to both sprinters and stayers. Inside barriers can hold an advantage in some distances, though the long final straight ensures every horse gets its chance.

Facilities & Experience:

A 2016 track reconstruction elevated our venue to modern standards, now hosting around 23 race meetings annually. Spectators enjoy premium views from the Ivan Livermore Stand, a covered betting ring, shaded lawns, and multiple hospitality areas — all just minutes from Port Macquarie’s town centre.
